As a Microsoft Dynamics NAV module (developed by Qurius), e-direct is a lightweight, high-performance e-Commerce solution for Navision 3.10+, built using .NET technology. It is completely integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with no expensive third-party servers or licensing required.

e-direct provides a standard set of e-commerce features allowing the user to:

• Browse for items via multiple catalogue structures (e.g. price group, brand or product category searches)
• View most popular items via star-ratings system. Customers may also be pushed in the direction of specific products through rotating advertisements.
• View product reviews written by customers who have purchased goods previously
• View accurate stock availability (based on live inventory data in Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Purchase multiple items in any one session through a Standard Basket
• Update their contact information prior to processing orders
• Select and create delivery addresses
• View status of orders placed (e.g. tracking via shipping agent)
• Order in multiple currencies
• Pay securely on account or by credit card
• Receive email notifications for orders received and dispatched.
• View order histories and re-use previous orders
• Search for items using variants in Navision such as colour, size and style
• Check orders in the basket before committing to purchase

It also exposes Microsoft Dynamics NAV data to customers, employees and suppliers via a web portal to provide a wide range of benefits.
